Membership

You need to become a member of SL1DE to hire the SL1DE facilities. Membership is annual and will need to be renewed each year, The membership fee covers you with our insurance so you don’t need to get insurance yourself. There are three different prices for membership depending on your circumstances. Each type of membership has a different hire rate attached, so students and graduates have a discounted membership fee and also discounted hire rates. All three membership types give equal access to kit hire.

Freelance & Companies
£100/year
(If you register as your company, all your colleagues can rent the equipment from SL1DE too)

Non-Profit or Community Group
£75/year

Student, recent graduate or unemployed
£50/year
(Must have graduated within 1 year)

Membership terms

When becomming a member of SL1DE you will have to accept full responsibility to take due care and attention when hiring SL1DE equipment. You will follow the agreed terms and conditions (supplied on the hire form and on the hiring kit section of this site) and will report any theft, accidental damage or loss immediately to the police & SL1DE whilst equipment is in your care. Failure to take due care & attention, or report theft/damage/loss will result in the termination of your membership and loss of your deposit.

The membership fee is non refundable.

Membership is subject to approval, SL1DE reserve the right to refuse membership.
